You’ve finally decided to do a Boudoir shoot…YAY! Congrats!

Now what? The choices can be overwhelming. Here is my expert opinion on how to find the best boudoir photographer for you!

BOUDOIR STUDIO

Boudoir is important to be specialized in, just like Newborn & Wedding Photography in my opinion. Hiring someone with a camera, or a photographer who is used to photographing models, to capture images of you in your most vulnerable state can result in the opposite of an empowering experience. It could become more damaging to your self confidence in the end. PLEASE, make sure you go with someone reputable, and not with just someone with a camera. Safety FIRST!

MALE OR FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHER

Both Male or Female photographers, assuming they are true professional, can bring out a different side of you! It really depends on your comfort level, and it doesn’t need a lot of explanation. This is something I think you know right away.

STYLE OF BOUDOIR

There are a lot of different styles of Boudoir. Sexual, provoking poses to artsy, nude inspired, or in my case I offer my clients more of a subtle, softer feminine empowered imagery that is not so much focuses on sexy lingerie, props or body parts but more of a feminine energy that shines from within.

It’s really up to what you connect with!

VALUE & QUALITY

Good Boudoir Photoshoots should be expensive. Let me ask you this. Would you rather choose a photographer, who just started learning the ins and outs of posing, lighting, retouching, or someone who will get to know you, help you prepare, ease your nerves and be your guide every step of the way during your shoot? Would you get a gallery filled with mediocre (at best) images to download or walk away with a gorgeous custom designed album filled with the most empowering images you have ever seen of yourself?
